On Friday lunchtime, our office turned into a very serious research lab. Clipboards out, sandwiches sliced, festive energy high. The mission: discover which Christmas sandwich truly deserves the crown. @greggs_official , @costacoffee , @pret , M&S and @tesco all entered our blind-testing experiment.
Everyone took the task far too seriously in the best possible way. People debated cranberry ratios like they were presenting to a board. And yes, every sandwich had fans. But one clear winner emerged from our highly scientific process: @pret Brie, Pistachio & Cranberry Baguette. (This is not paid promotion, honest blind testing)
Experiments like this arenât just about food. They slow everyone down for a moment. People laugh, talk, share tiny opinions that somehow become huge conversations. Itâs a reminder that even a small ritual at work can make a team feel closer and the week feel lighter.
Weâre already taking suggestions for the next Total Onion Research Initiative. Mince pies? Hot chocolates? Christmas cookies? Weâre open to all groundbreaking proposals.…
Today is World Mental Health Day, a reminder that we donât have to face everything alone. Our blog post, "Donât go it alone: The strength in asking for help at work", explores how reaching out can boost both wellbeing and teamwork.
Asking for help isnât a sign of weakness, itâs a step toward balance and resilience. Letâs keep creating spaces where itâs safe to speak up and support each other.
We took the train to Paris to visit our clientâs HQ. On the very first evening, instead of resting or exploring, we ended up diving into a tough code bug. Mystery solved, team victory unlocked! The next day we had a great visit at the clientâs office đđ»đ§ âš #totalonion #insidetotalonion #paris #teamwork #quicktrip…
